The National Union of Journalists and Thompsons (Scotland) are offering a new range of legal services to NUJ members and the pages that follow provide you with a guide to the contacts you will need for advice or support.

The NUJ working with Thompsons Solicitors in Scotland will provide full advice and representation in the event of an accident or disease causing injury to one of its members in the course of their employment.

The union also recognises there may be many other legal matters which can affect a member's availability for work, and capacity to do their job and has therefore arranged for additional legal services to support the member and their family in these concerns.

The union has not only arranged for unique access to all these services but also access by means of a FREE telephone number. Contact can be made with specialists in each area of law to provide the advice and, where applicable, further representation as explained in this Website.
